歌手简介（转）：
1995年3月31号，被誉为拉丁乐界玛丹娜的Selena(席琳娜)遇刺身亡，转眼七年已过，但是每年总是会有成千的乐迷前去Salena长大的地方-德州南部的墓园、雕像举行追悼。Salena的父亲Abraham表示，Selena的过世对个年龄层的乐迷所产生的影响真是一个奇迹。

全名为Selena Quintanilla 的Salena是在Corpus Christi旅店被歌友会的会长Yolanda Saldivar行刺身亡，Yolanda被判终身监禁。Selena的生平曾改拍成电影『哭泣的玫瑰』(Salena)，Jennifer Lopez(珍妮弗洛佩兹)还因此角色演出获得金球奖最佳音乐/喜剧类女主角提名。

Selena 95年以「Selena Live」荣获葛莱美奖。Abraham表示，对女儿医生的回忆经常让他忘记她已离开人世的事实，他说:「不过每当我读到’已过世的Selena’的文章时，却又让我回到现实，那对我们来说将会是心头永远的伤口。」
